Relay For Life is the world’s largest community movement to end cancer. Launched in 1985, it brings people together to honour survivors, remember loved ones, and take action. At its heart, Relay is a 4‑ to 24‑hour community event where teams take turns walking a track to symbolize that cancer never sleeps. It’s not a race — anyone can join, whether you walk a single lap or stay for the full experience.
In Qatar, Relay For Life is organized by the Qatar Cancer Society. Teams raise funds, share stories of hope, and take part in meaningful ceremonies to celebrate survivors and remember those we’ve lost. Food, entertainment, and activities keep the energy high throughout the event — together we Relay, together we fight back.
